These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the novane.app website and the Duply macOS application published under the Novane brand. By using the site or the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Novane (“we”, “us”). Support: support@novane.app.
2. The website
novane.app is a marketing and information site. Content is provided for general information about our apps. We may change or remove pages at any time. The site does not sell Duply directly — downloads and purchases happen on the Mac App Store.
3. Duply license (Mac App Store)
Duply is distributed through the Mac App Store. Your use of Duply is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (or any custom EULA we attach in App Store Connect), Apple’s Media Services Terms, and related Apple policies.
- You get a personal, non-transferable license to use Duply on Macs associated with your Apple ID, under Apple’s rules.
- You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the app except as allowed by law or Apple’s terms.
- We may release updates; availability of past versions is not guaranteed.
4. Pricing, payments, and refunds
Duply is offered as a one-time purchase (price shown on the App Store may vary by region and currency). Payment, tax, and billing are handled by Apple, not by us.
Refund requests go through Apple’s process (for example, reportaproblem.apple.com). We cannot process App Store refunds ourselves.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website or the app, including attempting to disrupt the site, scrape it abusively, or use Duply in a way that violates applicable law. Duply is a utility for managing files you are authorized to access — you are responsible for what you choose to delete.
6. Disclaimer
Duply and the website are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that cleaning will free a specific amount of space, that every third-party app leftover will be found, or that the site will be uninterrupted. Always review items before deleting; use “Move to Trash” if you want a recoverable option.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Novane will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data arising from your use of Duply or the website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or app will not exceed the amount you paid for Duply (if any), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

9. Third-party trademarks
CleanMyMac, DaisyDisk, and other third-party names on comparison pages are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies. Comparisons are our own opinions based on publicly available information and may change.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
